i have been putting all my cds onto my new ipod.. i am only half way through this, and my hard disk is almost full, as itunes keeps the audio files on the computer.. every time i plug in my ipod, any tracks i have removed from my hard drive to make room for new music is deleted from the ipod.. i want to keep all the music on the ipod, and get rid of all the cds stored on my hard disk without them being removed form the ipod.. the instructions are so rudimentary i dont know what to do.
i am not prepared to buy yet another computer because of this.. help appreciated.. hb.
Yeah if you don't have that much storage, that's your first problem. THe other issue is that you're not using iTunes properly.
To put something onto your iPod, it has to exist in your iTunes library. You're syncing your iPod with your iTunes library. If you delete an item from your iTunes library, it will remove it from your iPod the next time you sync, since it no longer exists. Don't delete stuff from your library.

the location is given as central coast, australia, which is north of sydney.. there aren't many more details other than "it has sent shockwaves throguh the congregations" and a query on the protocol in situations like this.

Not quite. If you link to a site, they can see where you referred from. For example, if I linked my blog here and you went to it, I'd see that you were referred to it from JWN. They can't just 'see the site you were just at or the one right after.'

Literally every website has a log of every IP address that visits it (even this one). With that, they can determine who your ISP is. Your ISP isn't going to just tell WT who the IP belongs to. The only time they do that is with a subpoena. You're safe. No one from the Branch Committee is going to knock down your door. Besides I doubt the page is even actually hosted at WT. I doubt they have the infrastructure in place.

I don't know how it is in your congregation, but in mine, some people get seriously offended by people going to sporting events or watching football in particular on TV. There's always a couple of superbowl parties or parties if the local university gets a bowl game. They are sort of kept on the downlow though.
